Moon Mat

I waited to write this review, because I had never used a cork mat before. I had my Moon phase mat as a Christmas gift (2022) so I have been using it for a year now.

Things I found were different with a cork mat: firstly it is a little heavier, in the early days I also found when my feet were colder I had less grip.

One year on I love my mat and have to say it is the best mat I have even owned.

The cork surface is still in excellent condition and on occasion when the light is right the gold design actually glows. It really helps with alignment too.

I don't find I slip anymore, I think it just takes time to get used to a different type of mat, I really am so pleased I chose this mat and highly recommend it.

Absolutely love this yoga mat, I have a cork mat already but wanted a lighter one for travelling yet still an economical cork one, this is perfect. It is also so beautiful, I have a fondness of moon designs and this is elegantly pretty. Mat is lovely to practice on, a very happy qigong bunny

Cork is a natural raw material which is 100% biodegradable, recyclable and renewable. Our cork bark is sustainably harvested in Portugal from the Cork Oak Tree without harming or cutting down any trees – that regularly grow to the wise old age of 300 years.

Cork contains a magical waxy compound called Suberin - which activates when wet - giving you powerful resistance and grip. The more you sweat - the more you grip. Cork offers a beautiful soft-touch, non-sticky grip.

How Flexible is Cork

The cork layer is made from tiny bits of compressed cork pieces bonded to a rubber base, this makes the mat super flexible across uneven ground and easy to roll up.

Why Choose Cork Space over Cheaper Alternatives?
